Exploring within this exciting world, among vines and bunches, among presses and barrels and with a real interest in bringing international projection to our winery, we considered the elaboration of our own red wine under one of the most internationally prestigious designations of origin: Rioja.
The direction and altitude of this 6-hectare vineyard in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, as well as its characteristic clay and limestone soil provide the grapes with a unique ripening point that our oenologist recognised from the very beginning. Not satisfied with that, we made a very specific selection in order to produce a different wine, a special selection.
Ageing: 7 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 15 days of maceration, 12 months of ageing in American oak barrels and 6 months ageing in bottles.
Description
Cherry color – rubí 
Its aromas strongly recall freshly ripened fruit, associated with subtle wooden notes which go perfectly with this style of wine. 
Pleasant in the mouth from the beginning, with soft and light tannins, smooth and with a spicy note. A fresh and pleasant wine, generous and kind, with an extraordinary elegance and an amazing but balanced mouthfeel. 
It’s the perfect wine to enjoy on its own or to pair with a range of meat stews, Mediterranean dishes, rice dishes, as well as white or red meat.
Age of the vineyard: 40 years.
